Tracy Kennedy spent seven years as the Human Resources Manager at Guide Dogs for the Blind,
a large nonprofit in Northern California.
After significant experience as an internal Human Resources professional in the nonprofit sector,
Tracy founded TK Consulting which provides a variety of consulting services to both nonprofit and
corporate clients. These consulting services include areas such as performance management,
coaching, organizational assessment and diagnosis. Her ability to listen and assess the true
needs of her clients has enabled her to assist organizations in finding and nourishing top talent.
Through her extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, Tracy has had significant impact on
organizations through her transformational consulting. Her experience internally in nonprofits
combined with her exposure to many organizations through consulting, has provided her with the
ability to guide organizations through leadership decisions which optimize organizational success.
Tracy finds her passion is with her nonprofit clients and is committed to providing
transformational consulting services which allow organizations to fulfill their missions and thrive.
Tracy has also served as President of the Board of Directors for the Marin Human Resources
Forum and has professional training in many areas of Human Resources and Organizational
Development. Tracy spends extensive time volunteering for organizations such as Guide Dogs for
the Blind, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Tracy also serves on the Board of Horses for the Spirit.
Tracy holds a M.A. in Human Resources & Organizational Development from the University of San
Francisco and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
